at the trailer premiere in times square! someone was handing them out. :)
11 of the 24 districts lives after day 1.
So, here’s my opinion about this.
A Hunger Game’s video game could, in my opinion and from my perspective, be executed really, really well.
If actually made, though, I feel like it would be terrible. Here’s why:
A Hunger Game’s video game would most likely follow the plot of the movie. You’d play as Katniss (or maybe even Peeta if you would like?) and go through the events of the first book. (Movie games based on books are usually tied closer to the book than the movie.) Movie games usually tend to not be all that great in the first place, however. I’m not jumping to conclusions, but if a game would be made, I don’t think it would be all that heavily invested into. This would result in a game that isn’t too well made, I feel.
Here’s how I think it COULD work out brilliantly:
I imagine a game should be made where you DON’T play as Katniss; however, you portray a character unique and created by you. You go through a random year of The Hunger Games, and you get your own unique experience and try to survive. No real story behind the characters, you create the one for your own and you’re thrown in to kill people you know nothing about. That would be a realistic, and probably horrifying, experience. In my opinion, that would make a fun and interesting game. Throw in multi-player and things would get really, really interesting.
ALL OF THIS IS OPINION SO DO NOT HATE ME. lol
